Verge Furniture Logistics is a family owned business and in one form or another has been in business for over 40 years. The name has changed but the excellence in service has remained.

Our specialty is in handling blanket wrapped shipments of new products, but we are not limited to this and can provide a variety of services to meet your transportation requirements.

Our small office staff is very experienced in the transportation field and can provide solutions to any transportation problem that arises and give personal attention to your transportation needs.

You have been boxing your furniture to ship it, why would you want to send it blanket wrapped?

There are several reasons why blanket wrapping is a better way to ship. No concealed damages. How many times have you had a shipment delivered and a month or more later your client comes back to you and says, "We have found concealed damage on this shipment when we went to deliver it to the final destination and want to make a claim." The industry standard for damage on boxed items is around 10%, with our blanket wrapped system we are less than 1%. Your customer must inspect the product as it comes off our truck and note any damages or shortages immediately. Our driver will call the office and report to us and we will in turn report to you allowing you to decide how to solve the problem quickly and efficiently to keep your customers happy.

Our crew will blanket wrap and pack the furniture on our trailers, this way you get another free quality control step in your shipping. We will inspect the furniture prior to blanket wrapping it and report any defects found to you before it leaves your location allowing you the ability to fix the problem before it ever gets to your customer`s dock.

If there is a piece damaged in transit you are insured for full replacement cost; not so much a pound that you would get for boxed shipments. Warehouses have a tendency of using forklifts and clamp trucks on boxed items, sometimes causing damages when they do. This cannot happen with a blanket wrapped shipment. 


Better for the environment, a cost savings for you, and no cardboard to be disposed of by your customer. Our blankets are high-quality, reusable, and washable.  



We have a fleet of small trucks that can handle your inner city deliveries where tractor trailers can't go. Cities like New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Chicago, and Toronto.

These trucks are dock level, but low clearance and they are equipped with power tailgates and ramps so dock or no dock we can handle it.

If you have expedite shipments our small trucks can handle those too and you won't be paying for a full trailer.

Not only can we provide you with all your transportation needs, we can also provide a crew to handle your trade show setups and tear downs, showroom set up, or furniture installations.

No job is too big or too small for our experienced installers. From a multi floor office building to a country doctor's waiting room, our professional install crew will make sure that the job is done to your customers satisfaction, all waste is removed, and the new furniture is cleaned before they leave the site.


We have a ten thousand foot warehouse available in the Toronto area to provide you easy cross docking of your shipments or short term storage if required.

Either we pick your shipment up with one of our local trucks or your truck brings it to our warehouse we can look after your cross docking and short term storage needs.


Expert Service

We can deliver to your showroom and have our installers work with your designer or just deliver it to your own installers.
